Consultations are provided telephonically as well as in person. Copies of all documents relevant to an individual's immigration status, including passport, I-94 Arrival/Departure Card, work permit, all previous submissions to, or decisions by, the Immigration and Naturalization Service/Citizenship & Immigration Service, the Department of Labor, the United States Department of State, or the Immigration Court, a detailed and current curriculum vitae (resume) should be provided at the time of the initial consultation, or prior to the consultation, if, telephonic.
The fee for a consultation with Attorney Mahsa Khanbabai is $75 for a half an hour and $175 for an hour. Payment is expected to be received before a telephonic consultation and at the time of an in-person consultation. The purpose of the consultation is to provide the attorney with sufficient information to allow her to fully analyze and advise on all of the immigration options, including estimated time frames, legal fees and costs.
A fee for each option, based on the facts presented, will be quoted during the consultation meeting, provided that all relevant documents have been presented. The attorney will generally bill on a flat fee basis, and fees in each case reflect the individual facts presented, the urgency of the situation, and the anticipated time and skill required. Payment terms will be discussed during the consultation.
The information provided to the Attorney Mahsa Khanbabai during the consultation is for the purpose of obtaining a consultation and is not intended for the purpose of establishing an attorney client relationship until an individual seeking representation has executed a written legal services agreement entering into such a relationship with the Attorney. All information will be held strictly confidential.
